Owen Ever, of the Pharmacy Museum and the Black Forest Fancies, introduced the evening. The event celebrated the launch of the Cachet Arts and Culture program, a collaboration between the two organizations and local artists. Goat in the Road was the first group to work with Cachet.

The evening, entitled "Ouch: The Body in and Out of Pain", consisted of a panel discussion about the physiological and sociological aspects of pain, as well as an excerpt from GRP's new piece, Numb.

Amina D. Massy, Coordinator of community-based participatory research at Xavier University and doctoral student at UCSF. Ms Massey's areas of research and outreach involve the philosophical, clinical, spiritual and sociological contexts of pain and trauma.

Becca Begnaud - Founder/Director of Healthcare for Musicians. Ms. Begnaud's healing practice and educational services include being a traditional Cajun traiteur, reiki master, and trauma first aide.

Harry Gould, M.D., Ph.D - Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience, LSU Pain Mastery Program. Dr. Gould's areas of research, interest and academics include mechanisms in the development and maintenance of chronic pain and comprehensive pain management.

The evening was well attended, with over 120 people in the courtyard of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum.
